Summary

Sam Tribble, a former collegiate All-American gymnast, was inducted into Sacramento’s Hall of Fame for outstanding athletes due to his remarkable tenure at UC Davis. He concluded his competitive career as the team captain for CSUF. With over 35 years of teaching experience, Sam remains dedicated to training youths, professional athletes and has participated in the Professional Development Program for USA Gymnastics. Notably, he served as the first US Worlds team coach for the sport of Cyr Wheel in 2013 and 2015. Sam also developed the Progressive Axis Training (PAT)tm technique, which focuses on teaching skill progression for the art of Cyr. His expertise is recognized through his certification as a technical judge by the IRV, and he served as a technical advisor on the board of USA Wheel Gymnastics. From 1995 to 2010, Sam owned and served as the head coach of Giants Gymnastics, a club affiliated with USA Gymnastics, catering to both recreational and competitive male and female gymnasts.

Continuing his coaching career, Sam trains athletes of all ages in bodyweight training, alternative fitness, and various art forms. His reputation has attracted athletes from around the world, including Russia, Ireland, Malaysia, New Zealand, France, Switzerland, South Korea, and across the United States, who come to study Cyr wheel and specialized sports mental training. Sam firmly believes in employing techniques such as Progressive Relaxation and visualization to enhance peak performance and holds a certification as a hypnotherapist.

Furthermore, Sam frequently travels internationally to showcase his skills in Acro (Adagio) and the art of Cyr, while also providing intensive teacher training across the country and abroad, focusing on fitness, performing arts and sports mental training.
